The Sachem Marching Band is an award-winning member of the New York State Field Band
Conference, made up of students from Sachem East High School, Sachem North High School,
Sagamore, Samoset, and Seneca middle schools.
The Sachem Marching Band has a history of
excellence dating back many decades. The Arrows are known for their creative music-making,
exhilarating visual performances, and an environment of growth and support among members.
Sponsored by the District and the Sachem Marching Band Parent Alliance, the Flaming Arrows
are a dynamic part of the well-recognized Sachem Music Program.
Membership of the Sachem Marching Band is open to all students enrolled in the Sachem
Central School District, who will be entering grades 7-12 this fall (September 2024). All
members who are a part of the woodwinds, brass, or percussion sections should also be enrolled
in a curricular music course at the high school or middle schools in order to participate. This is
one of the few competitive activities you can be a part of where there is no "bench". Every single person performs with us!
